  Elders raid a SDA church!

  is it true what we're hearing?

  it's been reported to us that two elders burst in to a sda church service about a month ago seeking to trap a witness man there.

  the man, a witness for 14 years, had become disillusioned with the affairs of the wts in australia after viewing the "sunday" program on channel nine which exposed the cover-up of paedophilia in the witness movement.

  Worn down again....

  i wanted to let you know that i told my mother i had found some information on the internet regarding jw,s.

  i was then subjected to 2 odd hours on the phone about why apostates are so wrong and how these people are typist's for satan.

  she put her husband on the phone too who went on a lot too....basically they wore me down and i ended the weakest again!

  You will get stronger. I had the same problem years ago when I first left. My Grandmother was relentless in trying to get me to come back to Jehovah. I never left him, I left them. She would get to preaching on and on until I would say "GRAN" she knew then I had had enough and would stop.

  You can't stop them from preaching to you but really you don't have to pay for the torture. HANG UP. If you don't want to be rude get something that makes a weird noise like static or buzzing, keep saying "Are you there? Are you there? I can't hear you!" Then hang up. If they call back atleast they are paying for it. You may not think it but everytime they do this you are putting a few more bricks on the wall of protection against them and their bullying.

  If you write to your mom, her husband will probably read the letter. He will feel that he needs to protect her.

  You will be ok, just hold on.

  we had alot of snow today (about 35cm) and i took a few pics for those who dream of having snow for christmas.... .

  it took these pics about 1 hour ago.

  there's alread 2 feet of snow in the back yard.

  PIANO ... Some Scores ???

  for some reason ... i had forget about piano for almost (i though less than that) but actually now almost 7 years (since tony got sick) ... and after a conversation with a friend on the net i decided to plug my synthesizer to see if i could remember by heart what i've learned by heart ... it went out way, way, way better than i thought, but i some parts are just a bit hard to come back, so i wonder if anyone of you have at least those scores ?

  I was hoping someone would have answered your post. I'm interested in one also. I have been looking at one from LOWES. It is about 350.00. It would fit nicely in a trailer. It has a mantle that comes in oak or white. I think it runs off regular electric on its own circuet (sp?) maybe. I didn't get to see it on at the store though so I don't know if it looks very natural. We just moved and now I have no place to hang Christmas stockings.

  If you find out anything let me know, I'm interested.

  Santa will be short a reindeer this year....

  as some of you are aware, it is hunting season right now where live.the hunters have pushed (ran the deer out of the bush's) every bush that there has to be had around here.in other word's ( for those who are not sure of what i mean) they walk all the bushes and woods to get the deer to come out to hunt and kill them.

  killing the deer i have no problem with.

  it's when the deer almost kill me and my family i begin to have a problem.. last night at about 11.00pm i was taking home my son's girlfriend home.

  A friend should enrich your life, not make your life harder or hurt you. You should enrich a friends life, not make their life harder or hurt them. Does that help?

  Are there any? is a pretty wide open area, yes there are....but what?

  If a friend tells you something personal about themselves and says don't tell anyone, I think you have an obligation not to tell ANYONE.

  If a friend said they killed someone and wanted me to help get rid of the body, I'm afraid my obligation is with the police, not the friend. Who wants friends that kill people.

  You are not obligated to lend a friend money but it is nice if you can to help out, just expect it to be a gift. Much easier to borrow then to pay back. Who wants friends that will take your money and not pay back.

  You are obligated to yourself first then to a friend, if you can live with it.......go for it.

  Welcome AloneinOH. I'd like to think you are not alone anymore, you are here.

  Many people here have been thru the samething. Hang onto your hat, it's going to be a bumpy ride of emotions. I think you will lose alot of the guilt you have been carrying around with you. I know I did. I was out for almost 30 years when I found this board, and still carried a strange guilt around. Not anymore. Please keep reading things from people who have been there and regroup before you proceed. That way you can see how others have faired with their choices on handling what they found out. Slower seems to cause the least amount of damage in the long run, especially if you want salvage any family ties.
